The food quality and quantity is worth every penny at Icy Spicy, in two words it would be Delicious and Sumptuous. It's quite a small area with just 5 Tables, but it gives quite a cosy feel with music in the background it gives you a sense of privacy if you would want to go out on a date ;) There are some dishes that are absolutely unique to Icy Spicy, like the Cantonese Chicken and the Chicken Meatball soup with Silky Noodles. And then you should absolutely end with the chocolate brownie with vanilla ice-cream to truly have the Icy Spicy Experience! All-in-all a great place to dine!
Tucked in a corner, Icy Spicy is completely inconspicuous. However, the food is excellent, the decor is no-frills and the most crucial aspect - service is bang on! The owner himself takes your orders, customizes them for you and serves them piping hot on your table - just in time! The best part that I felt is - prices are reasonable and pocket friendly. It has that college hangout look which appeals to most customers. Very good Value for Money!
Icy Spicy is my favorite go-to restaurant whenever I can't decide what to eat. As a frequent visitor, I've never been disappointed with the food and service here. Dinner for two will cost you no more than 500 bucks here, and I'm talking about some great quality food. Although the place doesn't serve alcohol, it makes up for the loss with some killer food. My personal favorites here are the seafood manchow soup, BBQ chicken, chilly basil chicken, lamb chilly and chicken wong rice. The taste and quantity of these dishes have remained consistent over the years. Of late, they've started serving some decent Thai food too. Also, the chicken and mutton dum biryani here is quite popular among the locals. The service here is super friendly and the owner himself comes down to take your order. Icy Spicy is one of the few places where you can safely go for the staff's recommendations as you're bound to like it. Also, the restaurant frequently introduces new dishes that the owner likes to promote. Moreover, he will also customize your meals for you, a service that's hard to come by today. So if Thai and Chinese are your poisons, with the occasional Biryani, Icy Spicy is the place for you.
