Cool ambience

Well maintained and good service ensure you come back to this place. Cool continuous breeze makes your experience even better. The food was truly sensational.

The food specializes in North Indian. The starters right from Nawabi Paneer Tikka to Hara Bhara Kebab were amazing. Brilliant food topped with brilliant desserts like Phirni, Jalebi and Rabaddi.

Freshly prepared, it melts in your mouth quality. In short, a place to visit if you are in SoBo in the evening and cool night.

The whole Arabian feel that they tried to create in their ambience was felt! Their kebabs were amazing and so was their seating as they offered a wide variety of options. The rooftop seating with the breeze coming in from the sea and the view of the Taj all lit up just blew me away! Though I would warn u to make prior reservation! Authentic Chicken Dum Biryani mentioned in the Menu was just awful. .More like pulou with boiled chicken

for the ambiance & for the love of food I would like to rate this place a 4!! its absolute leisure & when you want to dine in here make sure you have time at hand!! though I wouldn't mind the as the place is really nice. the entrance to the bldg. & the old lift perhaps gives a very different impression at the start but the moment you enter the restaurant after a small flight of stairs (post the lift) it all changes!! food is good, no doubt. have been here only with friends though!!

I've been here thrice... crowd of south Mumbai... with a roof top restaurant plus IPL match in large screen.... perfect way to spend time in weekend. Food is expensive but u won't regret it after eating.. ROTI basket is best with different kind of rotis in one basket.. i love CHEESE roti, They serve Hookah of different kind of flavors which i think will be interesting though i don't smoke. perfect place to spend weekend with your friends, family

Nice ambience, ok food!

I had heard a lot Koyla's from friends. My visit here on 30th March for a friend's birthday dinner didn't exactly disappoint me. The ambience is really nice with different kinds of seating arrangement, which I found pretty interesting. Although placed on roof-top, I can imagine Koyla's getting uncomfortably hot during the summers.

In respect of the food...Well, it was just about average. Not bad, at the same nothing about it which can be specially mentioned. No alcohol is the rule. Hukkah was served there previously, no idea if it still is. A bit on the expensive side but its okay if all one wants to do is enjoy the ambience. Definitely enjoyable on a cool and pleasant night!

Black & Grey

This Is Sobo's rustic looking roof top restaurant. Excellent Sheeshas. Very good north Indian food. The dal makhni & chicken tikka masala with the cheese kulchas are delicious. Service has definitely become a little unfriendly. Do something about that Mr azmi. I suggest get in the basilico staff. Lol!!!!

I am from the UK and have been to India 4 times in the past 8 months. I have always been to Koyla every night I was in Mumbai.
I love shisha and the service and the quality of the shisha at Koyla is out of this world. Their setting is amazing. The service I recieved here was absolutely 5 star.
On returning to the UK, I have opened up my own shisha cafe, named Koyla, but nowhere as nice as this one.
If you come to Mumbai, you definitely need to come to Koyla and experience their shisha and food. Their chicken tikka was absolutely gorgeous!!
